Chocolate Raspberry Mornings
By Berg
Bianca smiled as she felt Maggie snuggled in closely beside her. She knew this was a content sigh moment but worried it might wake Maggie. As is, the woman had not been sleeping well the last few nights. Quietly, she removed herself with the limbs and closed the door quietly to her bedroom.
She walked down the short hall to Miranda's room and saw her little girl sleeping quietly. Another smile dawned her face. "Beautiful girl," she whispered and remembered Maggie. "or should I say girls." Another thought graced her mind. "My girls "
She walked to the kitchen and laughed. There on the counter top was Maggie's shirt and on the floor was her own bra. "Didn't quite make it to the bedroom," she blushed picking up the items and folding them.
She rounded the corner and went to the coffee maker. She opened up the small bag and brought it to her nose. "Chocolate raspberry my favorite. Yum." She smiled and scooped it into the new filter. Clicking the on button, she made her way to the front door and checked for the morning paper. Picking it up, and closing the door behind her, she smiled seeing the headline. 'Lavery Attempted Murderer Behind Bars Finally.'
A small part of her felt for Jonathan. But it was only a small part. His abuse, his anger, his greed got him where he was today. But she also knew that a large part of who he was who he is comes from the abusive childhood he was faced with. "And I thought being Erica's daughter was tough."
It dawned on Bianca no matter how many scuffles she and her mother had, she knew Erica loved her endlessly. She went back to the kitchen and poured herself and Maggie each a cup. "Time to wake sleeping beauty."
Walking back to the bedroom, she smiled seeing a set of eyes watching her enter.
"It was too quiet," Maggie smiled sitting up, adjusting her sheet around her chest.
"You saying I'm loud," Bianca winked. She felt a blush creep up her neck at the short site before.
"Well there was snoring and then there wasn't."
"I do not snore!" Bianca said faking shock.
"And I don't drool," Maggie winked.
"How did you sleep?"
"Wonderfully," Maggie sighed taking the cup.
"I'm not surprised."
"Yeah that was quite the workout last night," Maggie smirked.
"That's not what I meant," Bianca giggled. "I meant that you've kinda been going non-stop for the last few weeks."
"Is it wrong that I feel like it led me to this one single perfect moment?"
"Not at all," Bianca smiled softly and leaned in for a kiss. "Is it wrong that I've been hoping that sheet would fall for the last two minutes?"
Maggie smiled. "Not at all." Maggie leaned up, and the sheet went down.
The End
