Passion & Perfection will be having its fifth anniversary on May 16th and to celebrate I am hoping to have a very special update. To do so I will need the assistance of those people who have helped to make P&P the place it is today, namely the writers, graphic artists, video makers and visitors.
To mark the anniversary update as something different to the norm I will be limiting the types of story/graphic/video that will be included to those that answer one of the two, specific, challenge criteria. They basically fall into the following:
Challenge Prompt
A story, graphic or video in response to one of the following, very basic, prompts.
1. Celebrations - be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, Bat Mitzvah, graduation, or whatever.
2. The number five
The prompts have been made vague on purpose, but if you are the type of person who responds better to a more concrete type of challenge you can always e-mail me at ralst31@gmail.com and I can provide you with something more specific.
Happy, sad, funny, angsty, A/U, canon, uber, spoof, drabble... the field is wide open. Surprise me.
Finish it Challenge
This part of the challenge is a little different from the norm and prompted by my own, rather appalling, track record when it comes to finishing stories. Basically, if you have a story, either already housed at P&P or sitting on your hard drive gathering dust, that you've been meaning for weeks/months/years to finish, this is your chance to do so. Simply e-mail me at ralst31@gmail.com with the words 'Finish Challenge' in the subject line, and you can be added to the table of 'to be finished' fics. Once included on the table it then becomes your challenge to finish that particular fic, graphic or video, before the anniversary deadline.
And to put my money where my big mouth is, I'll be the first to sign up.

Deadline
To be able to have the update ready by the 16th the stories etc. need to be submitted no later than the 13th May. Please put 'Anniversary Submission' in the subject heading, and the usual details in the body of the mail.
All normal fandoms and pairings are accepted and new ones welcome, so long as they don't go against the normal site rules - if you're in any doubt just drop me a line and I'll let you know.
Visitors
The site visitors can help in one of three ways:
1. Come and enjoy the anniversary update when it happens
2. Let the authors and creators know what you think of their work
3. Tell others about the challenge. Who knows, you might get an extra story by doing it
