Part 23

Calleigh hoped that she would never get used waking tangled up with Natalia's body. She loved lying there looking at the contrast of skin tones, peaches and cream against bronze. In addition, the way that caramel colored hair blended in perfectly with gold.

She also loved the feeling of going underneath the short or pants or whatever Natalia happen not to be wearing to slide into warm slickness and begin to thrust slowly. She loved the way that Natalia would start to move, a little bit at a time and softly moan. She loved the way that sleepy eyes would slowly flutter open, search for her and then reach out to pull her closer. She loved to way that Natalia would arch up against her and the tiny little sigh that she made as she went over the edge. She prayed that she would never tire of this.

Ever since Natalia had awakened with Calleigh in her bed the first time, she had prayed that it was something that would always happen. She loved the feeling of gentle fingers caressing her out of Morpheus's embrace. She adored opening her eyes to gaze into faceted green ones that seemed to sparkle like emeralds and seeing golden hair that outshone the sun. Natalia prayed that there would never be a morning that she didn't wake up to Calleigh.

After a morning of gentle lovemaking, they got out of bed and started the rest of their day. Together they made their brunch with hardly a word spoken. Each seemed to know what the other needed before it was asked. Stolen glances at each other brought smiles to their faces when caught.

During their meal, gentle touches and kisses fed their souls while the food fed their bodies. By the time that the meal was finished, they looked at each other, dropped off the dishes in the kitchen sink and made their way back to their bed.

The afternoon was spent with whispered caresses and gentle touches. Kisses were given and received in great abandon. Sighs were intermingled with moans and shouts.

As she lay in her wife's embrace, Calleigh sighed contently. She understood that this had been a healing day, a reaffirmation of their love. One where nothing had been talked over, discussed or brought to the surface. It was a day that had been just for their souls, their hearts and for their minds.

Raising her head slightly, Calleigh looked at Natalia's face only to find her looking at her.

Quietly Natalia whispered. "Thank you for today. It has been perfect."

"Thank you darlin' and yes it has. And it's not over yet."

Resting her head back down against Natalia's chest, Calleigh let her fingers trace idle patterns on her stomach, laughing quietly as Natalia squirmed when she hit a ticklish spot.

Suddenly she found herself on her back with Natalia astride her. "I do believe that I owe you some serious tickle time that you talked me out of."

"Aw darlin', you don't wanna do that."

"And why not?"

Natalia could see Calleigh's brain racing to come up with an excuse that she would buy.

Smiling seductively, Calleigh answered. "Because if you want me squirming underneath you, I can think of better things to do."

Leaning down to kiss her very smart wife, Natalia murmured. "Oh, you're good. You're really, really good."

Wrapping her arms around Natalia's neck, Calleigh agreed. "And don't you ever forget it."

It was early evening when they finally got out bed to once again go into the kitchen to get something to eat. Deciding that they wanted a steak, Calleigh went out on the deck to start up the grill while Natalia prepare the marinade, steak and the side dishes.

When she went out onto the deck to start grilling, Natalia found Calleigh clothes in a pile. Looking out over the sand, she saw her taking a nighttime swim along with Mallory playing in the waves.

Taking the steak back inside, she went into the bathroom, grabbed a couple of bath sheets, and went back outside.

Calleigh was swimming when she caught a glimpse of something on the beach that stopped her completely.

Standing at the water's edge, bathed in silver moonlight was the love of her life. Calleigh watched as she slowly removed her clothes and strolled into the water.

Calleigh made her way up to her until they were both standing in water that was waist deep.

Slowly Calleigh brought up her hands to ghost Natalia's body, making her shiver.

"You are the most beautiful woman that has ever graced this world."

Upon hearing this, Natalia shook her head. "In my eyes, I'm looking at the most beautiful woman. I pale in comparison to you."

Chuckling, Calleigh compromised. "Let's just say that we're two fine looking women and leave it at that."

Pulling her wife close, Natalia leaned down and gave her a long, slow kiss that left them both breathless.

Suddenly without warning, Calleigh leaned back, pulling them both into the waves, causing Natalia to come up sputtering.

"That was so not nice. And to think that I didn't tickle you."

Wrapping her legs about Natalia's waist, Calleigh nuzzled the spot below her ear, licking off the salt water.

"Aw babe, you know that I'll make it up to you."

"I'm just gonna add it to the growing list of things I'm gonna get you back for. Don't you complain when it's your turn."

Running her fingers through Natalia wet hair, Calleigh murmured. "Darlin', I won't ever complain about anything you do, but if you don't kiss me right now, I might."

The kiss was slow, gentle teasing one that left them both breathless. Pulling a ways a bit to gaze up into dark eyes, Calleigh sighed.

"No ma'am, I'm never going to complain about that."

Turing towards the shore, they walked hand in hand up to where Natalia had left the towels, dried off and went back to the cabin to fix dinner.

After dinner and cleaning up, they went back out on the deck and curled up on one of the lounge chairs. Words were not needed as they were just enjoying the quiet and still basking in the glow of their day.

As they laid there, they saw a shooting star and at the exact moment, they made the same wish.

"Please keep her safe and never let our love end."

Natalia was leaning back against Calleigh chest wrapped up in her embrace.  Moving her head a little to the side so that she could look at Calleigh face, Natalia whispered.

"I don't want today to end. This has been a perfect day."

Calleigh whispered a kiss against her forehead. "Darlin', it doesn't have to. As long as we love each other, it can go on the rest of our lives."

Standing, Natalia reached out a hand, drew Calleigh up and together they walked inside. And thus the day continued, just as it started, in a tangle of arms, and legs and a mixture of golden and caramel colored hair.
