Ani walks up to join a distraught Gina on the beach. Gina apologizes for calling, but says she had nobody else. She tells Ani what happened with her father. Torn, Ani tries to help Gina and wants to comfort her. Ani pulls Gina into her arms and holds her tenderly.
Later on, Gina and Michele discuss work. Gina tells Michele she needs a life. After bantering, Michele asks if Gina will try to finally get over Ani. Gina admits to loving Ani, but is unsure if she is still in love with her. Michele gives Gina some helpful advice.
Back on the beach, Gina walks up to Ani during her photoshoot. Taking a break, Ani walks with Gina to a bench. The two have a heart-to-heart about the other night and their relationship.
Ani tells Gina: "I get you...always have. Blessing...curse. But, I-I really needed to see you today just for me...because, um, I'm gonna do something that I should've been doing for the past year. I'm gonna get a life."
Gina asks: "Well, can I at least call you?"
Ani sadly says: "I wish you wouldn't."
Ani scooches over, snapping one final photograph of them together. The two share one final heartbreaking kiss. Ani walks away, leaving a sad Gina behind.
