In the windy hills, Owen and his blind date, Sami, are sitting in his car. They discuss bad blind dates. Owen cracks open a few beers for them. The two joke and flirt, getting to know each other. Owen wants to know what Sami's story is. She tells him about her time in the Peace Corp. He invites her to dinner that night.
Gina and Owen arrive to have brunch with their aunt and dad. Guya greets them. The Colonel makes them drinks and pockets a secret. Aunt Guya asks them about their lives. The Colonel talks down about Owen's job. Gina can't stand it and stand up for her brother and herself. The Colonel continues to be angry and the two get into an arguement.
Gina finally yells: "And, if you think I've been a disappointment to you, you have no idea what you've been to me!"
Gina and Owen leave angry.
