Jack casually strolled onto the loading dock like he belonged there. The MP shared confused looks with his colleagues as Jack signed for the truck load of boxes that had just arrived for him. Once the paperwork was fixed up he picked up the first box off the back and started to walk into the base.
Jack froze when a noise escaped the box.
"Sir, what was that?" The closest MP asked warily.
"Nothing," Jack answered. "Bring in the rest of those boxes. And don't ask any more questions! You're soldiers, not doctors."
He walked into the base and grinned at the female MP at the security desk. Her face remained passive until she heard the meow from Jack's hands. With each mewing box that was carried past her she laughed even more.
