Beware the Lights
By KC

Sam peered around the corner to check if it was safe. With a quick glance behind her, and another quick check around the corner, she dashed down the corridor towards the infirmary. She had to save Janet before the others got there. She checked around the next corner and saw the briefest flash of red.

"Shit," she hissed. She broke into a run with her weapon at the ready, not that it wasn't before.

Sam burst through the door shooting at anything that moved. She caught Daniel in the chest, but didn't dodge quick enough to avoid Jack's shot to her back. She watched in horror as he approached Janet's office. His hand reached for the handle and she wished she could wipe that smug grin from his face. Just as he pushed the door open his lights went out.

Teal'c stood behind a gurney with what passes as a Teal'c smile. He saved Janet!

"Aww Teal'c. You shot me." Jack whined.

Sam laughed, "Fair's fair sir."

"Indeed," Teal'c agreed.

Jack folded his arms as best he could over his technological vest, "But it was my idea to play laser tag."

Sam just shrugged and walked past him and into Janet's office with a triumphant smirk. "I saved you. Can I get my prize now?"
