Your Love is Like a Rollercoaster, Baby
Recap by Misty Flores
PACO'S HOUSE
It's Paco's house at midnight. Paco can't sleep. Mariano comes in excitedly, telling him he knows what's wrong with DL. He reads the symptoms from a medical book and surmises that DL has a tumor in his head. Mariano gets happily into bed with Paco as Paco tells him that he's not a doctor and can't make a diagnosis like that.
DL comes in and catches them in bed together again. DL just says that he locked the door in case he blacks out and gets out, so to please keep an eye out. He heads out again.
Paco gets annoyed that Mariano has developed the habit of getting into bed with him every time he comes in DL is going to think they're lovers! Mariano tells him not to get him started on being gay, but instead they should focus on DL who has taken to locking himself into his house. Paco doesn't know what to do, he doesn't want to go to the hospital. Mariano wants to know why he's not doing anything for his father-in-law, Lucas took Paco's balls with him. They should at least tell Lola, or Silvia at least who is a medical professional. Paco insists that he promised DL he wouldn't tell them or Sara.
Mariano decides that everyone else should know. He's arranges a meeting with his team, since they're all on an all night guard duty anyway.
--
THE BRIEFING ROOM
At the briefing room, the group deliberates on what to do with DL. Aitor, who sees Dl as a father figure, says his grandfather died from a tumor that he didn't get checked out and he won't let that happen to DL.
--
IN THE PATIO
Sara comes down the stairs to throw out her trash. On the way down she sees Pepa coming toward her. They stop and give each other an awkward stare.
SARA: [coldly] Hi.
PEPA: Hi.
Pepa isn't in the greatest mood either. She heads for the stairs.
SARA: What are you doing here?
Pepa turns back to look at her, shouldering her duffle bag.
PEPA: I came to ask your dad for political asylum. Until I find something. I can't keep living in a hotel.
SARA: Well, he's not here.
She tosses the trash and comes toward Pepa with her arms crossed.
SARA: He went to the station. He had something urgent that he had to do. I don't know what.
PEPA: Okay.
Sara keeps quiet, offers her no more. Pepa takes the hint.
PEPA: Well, if they're not here
She heads out. Sara closes her eyes and sighs.
SARA: Pepa.
Pepa freezes.
SARA: I saw you.
Pepa's eyes go from uncaring numbness to widening in sudden fear at what Sara means. She turns. Sara turns to face her.
SARA: With Aitor.
She turns her head to the small room where Pepa and Aitor had sex. Pepa follows her gaze.
--
THE BRIEFING ROOM
Mariano resolves to drug DL to get him to the hospital, since he won't go. Curtis doesn't know how they can sneak a drugged person into the hospital. Mariano says they need to do whatever they have to save DL. They agree. Aitor says he has a friend who has an ambulance who can sneak them into the hospital that very night.
The team votes to drug DL and smuggle him into the hospital to see where the tumor is.
--
IN THE PATIO
Pepa drops her bag.
PEPA: What was I doing?! What were you doing telling Silvia about my list? Because if I'm like this, it's your fault.
SARA: It's my fault?! [she scoffs] No. I'm not going to sleep with someone five minutes after I break up with someone. And least of all with Aitor. You're twice is age, you barely know him Pepa! And that's ugly; for him, for Silvia, for everyone!
Pepa isn't in the mood to be judged.
PEPA: Where the fuck do you get off telling me what's ugly? You, who hooked up with Lucas who really IS twice your age. Your aunt's ex-husband, friend of your dad's only to leave him. To hook up with Aitor. And then to leave AITOR and go back to Lucas.
Sara is pissed, but she can't say much at the summation of her love life.
PEPA: You've lived your whole life asking the whole world to understand you. Maybe marriage helped you forget. You don't remember the amount of shitty things that a person does thanks to love.
With a sad smile for her niece, she grabs her duffel bag and leaves.
--
THE GARAGE
The team washes down the van they're using for tonight's operation, where they are waiting for a judges warrant to go look for explosives in San Antonio.
Montoya briefs them and introduces Captain Rubio, who has lent the precinct one of his best explosives dogs Vicki. She's decorated as a Sergeant and will be deployed to Afghanistan the next day.
Curtis is in charge, but since he has a dog already and fears the smell may disorientate Vicki, he volunteers Povedilla for dog-sitting duty.
--
Paco's house
Paco and Mariano dress in scrubs as they get ready to head for the hospital. Paco is aghast that Mariano has decided to dress himself in a surgeon's scrubs the point is to avoid attention. Paco is close to a panic-attack Mariano says that TODAY he's Paco's balls, and they're going to save DL.
--
SARA'S APARTMENT
It's close to one am now, and Sara is feeling lonely as she settles down for a midnight snack. It goes uneaten as she misses Lucas and thinks about their time together.
She sends him a text message telling him that she misses him terribly.
--
THE GARAGE
Captain Rubio gives Povedilla a long list of strict instructions for Vicki and then leaves them. Vicki is more interested in the puddle of water on the floor than listening to Povedilla. Montoya tells them they just have to watch Vicki a couple of hours until they get the order from the judge.
Nelson tries to turn off the water but ends up turning it completely the other way. Montoya and Vicki are DRENCHED with water.
Povedilla freaks out and covers Vicky, asking desperately for some towels to dry her off.
--
PACO'S HOUSE
Paco and Mariano try to figure out how to best drug DL, but Aitor KNOCKS loudly, forcing Paco to panic and yell at him for making noise. Aitor insists the ambulance is double parked, but the ensuing talk wakes DL. He asks them what the hell they're doing wearing scrubs.
They lie and say they're going to a Mardi Gras party. Aitor invites DL but DL just wants to go back to sleep. They spray him with the drug and in four seconds, he's out cold.
--
SARA'S APARTMENT
As Sara sits, waiting for Lucas to text, she thinks about what Pepa told her that people forget how much crap they pull when they're in love.
She remembers her less than stellar moments when she was chasing Lucas (and there's a lot), like asking him inappropriate questions like when he lost his virginity, and when he was drunk and passed out in bed, stripping him and her and pretending they had sex the next morning.
She remembers her first kiss with Lucas, one she forced on him when she was yelling at him that she hated him.
Sara calls Pepa, but gets her voicemail. She thinks about hanging up, but thinks better of it.
PEPA: Hi, this is Pepa, leave a message after the beep.
SARA: Pepa, I'm sorry. You had every reason in the world. And me with my crazy childhood, I'm no one to judge. And it's normal to sometimes people do crazy things, and they get confused and they regret it and they know how to ask forgiveness and if you want to go back and forth like a swing then then I support you. Really. Not everything is lost. Look at me.
Her cell phone rings. It's Lucas's text.
SARA: Well, if you want, I would love it if you came to live with me. Until Lucas comes back. Whenever you want, just come. Smooches.
She lowers the phone, and brings it back up.
SARA: I love you, tita.
--
THE GARAGE
Curtis happily relays commands to the pup until he confuses the poor girl. He tries to get her to run.
Povedilla comes in, furious that Curtis is messing with the dog. Curtis tells him that it's just a dog, but Povedilla says it's not a dog it's a Sergeant. Curtis says they'll all take care of the dog.
Povedilla leaves and Curtis pulls his own shaggy dog out of his trunk. He tells Nelson that his dog is really dumb and will cry all night if he doesn't come with him. He takes them both for a walk.
--
THE LOCKERROOM
Montoya tries to dry off his underwear but ends up losing his towel when Rita comes in to tell him the Captain wants him to sign off for the dog. She won't stop looking at his dick.
He tells her to stop, and she says it's not her fault he's always walking around naked in the precinct.
She gives him a uniform to wear and heads out. Montoya sighs.
--
SARA'S APARTMENT
Sara and Lucas begin to text each other.
Lucas tells Sara that there's one day less gone and when he gets back he'll take her dancing. She asks him if he dances. He explains that the CIA is teaching him how. She responds she'd like to see that.
He says he'd rather see her. She thinks about it and smiles and tells him that in two hours he'll get his answer.
--
THE PARK
Curtis and Nelson watch the dogs play and are amused when Curtis' dog mounts Vicky and starts humping away. Povedilla, who has been frantically looking for the dog, shows up and freaks out, breaking it up.
BACK AT THE GARAGE
Povedilla freaks out that the dog might be pregnant now and they'll be in a shitstorm. Curtis doesn't think it's a big deal. Povedilla freaks out some more and threatens to denounce him. Curtis appeases him and says they'll be professional. They'll get a pregnancy test.
Nelson thinks they'll need urine, then.
--
AT THE HOSPITAL
Aitor, Paco and Mariano cart DL around the hospital, lost. They end up in the emergency room just as a major accident has hit with four ambulances rushing people over. Mariano starts giving orders to maintain appearances, but a nurse mistakes Mariano for a surgeon and drags him off.
Paco tells Aitor to watch his father-in-law and he'll go get Mariano. Aitor tries to push DL off, but sees a victim slide to the floor, a gash on her head. He leaves DL for a second to help her up, but as soon as he turns his back another nurse grabs DL's 'chart' and leaves with him.
Aitor quietly freaks out when he realizes he lost DL.
--
SARA'S APARTMENT
Sara stands in front of a video camera and asks Lucas if he's ready for his dance. She starts her strip tease to 'SEX APPEAL' by Barrie Gledden.
As she dances, her cell phone goes off it's Pepa. Sara doesn't hear it.
Sara keeps dancing. She removes her shirt and begins to dance around in her bra, as Silvia enters the apartment carrying a huge box.
Silvia grins and puts down her things, and without Sara knowing, joins in behind her.
Sara dances on, without a clue, until she turns back to the door and SCREAMS.
Silvia cracks up as Sara laughs and tries to recover, turning off her CD player and her video camera.
SILVIA: You're so horny! You're doing a strip tease!
Silvia keeps giggling. Sara blushes.
SARA: Well, what's going on? Why are you laughing?
SILVIA: Oh, it's cause I smoked a joint. And now I feel great.
Sara blinks, and chuckles in surprise.
As she puts on her shirt, she watches Silvia open her box and pull things out of it.
SARA: And what's that?
SILVIA: These are Pepa's things from the closet that were bothering me.
Sara's smile fades as Silvia keeps pulling things out.
SILVIA: And I said to myself, 'Well I'm just going to get them out of here.'
She stacks CDs, books, shirts on Sara's couch. Sara watches in growing concern.
SILVIA: And since I didn't want to be the typical hysterical ex who throws everything out the window either, I'll leave them with you. And you can give them to her when you see her. Except the box, I'm taking it. It's mine.
Silvia is high and numb and seriously in a bad place. Sara is growing very concerned, as Silvia gathers her stuff and the phone starts to RING.
SILVIA: Is that the phone? Where is it?
She looks for it, moving things around until she locates it under Pepa's stuff.
SILVIA: Here it is!
She grabs it and looks at the Caller ID (or she would have if the prop department had totally not failed and provided a phone with actual caller ID. Maybe it's wishful thinking).
SILVIA: Oh, look, it's Pepa!
She thrusts it to Sara.
SILVIA: Answer it! Answer it! Answer it! It doesn't matter to me!
She sits happily down on the sofa.
SILVIA: Let's see what she says.
The phone stops ringing. Sara looks sadly down at her aunt.
SARA: It's stopped ringing.
Silvia hides her disappointment with an uncaring shrug. Sara sighs and puts down the phone.
SARA: Silvia.
SILVIA: What?!
SARA: Are you okay?
Silvia smiles, stoned.
SILVIA: Yes. Totally. I'm great! I'm already getting over it!
Sara doesn't believe her.
SILVIA: Now, the only thing is I don't know if I'm going to be a lesbian, heterosexual, bisexual a hermaphrodite! A stud! Or a slutty chick! Or maybe I'll just be a single woman with lots of space in her closet.
Sara stares.
SILVIA: Well, it's nothing. Before I couldn't even fit a humidifier in there, and now there's room for four humidifiers!
It overwhelms her, and her laughter breaks into quiet sobs as the truth settles in with Silvia. She begins to cry, overwhelmed with loss at the reality of her break up with Pepa.
Sara comes forward immediately to kneel in front of her.
SARA: Hey that's enough. Enough of that. Enough. Stop. We'll get some snacks and we'll watch a movie, and we'll talk about all this.
Silvia sniffles and nods.
SARA: Do you want some wine?
Silvia nods and smiles gratefully.
SARA: I'll bring you some.
SILVIA: Okay.
SARA: Enough of that. Okay?
She rises and presses a loving kiss to Silvia's cheek.
SARA: Beautiful.
Another kiss to Silvia's forehead, and she leaves her.
--
THE HOSPITAL
Mariano enters surgery and is told by the nurse that he'll have to amputate the patient's leg. She hands him a surgical saw.
Mariano tries to stall but comes closer and closer to sawing off the leg. Paco catches him and pulls him out of the room, lying and saying there's an emergency with one of his patience, a police commissioner.
Mariano tells the nurses they're doing a great job before he's dragged out by Paco.
--
SARA'S APARTMENT
There is a knock at the door. Silvia opens it.
Pepa's eyes widen when as she recognizes Silvia.
Silvia is not the mood. She immediately slams it shut.
As Pepa starts pounding at the door, Silvia runs for her bag.
She gives Sara a 'I'm out of here' motion and heads for the door. Sara grips her wine, confused.
SARA: What's going on?!
Silvia opens the door. Pepa, pissed off, storms in.
PEPA: Listen, don't bother leaving. If you don't want to see me, I'll gladly leave.
Silvia stops mid-door way and turns back.
SILVIA: Oh, yeah? And where are you going to go?
PEPA: Well, certainly not your house, since you changed the locks on me!
SILVIA: Well, sure listen I can do whatever the hell I want with MY house.
They glare at each other. Sara watches.
PEPA: Oh, really? Do you know where you can stick your house?
SILVIA: Sure. The same place where you can stick all that-
She points to Pepa's things she's left on the sofa. Sara, sensing the escalating animosity, rushes to intervene.
PEPA: You think you're so cute, huh?
SARA: Okay!
She steps between them as Pepa drops her bag, more than pissed enough to throw down.
SARA: Silvia, come here.
PEPA: What?!
SARA: Okay! Enough.
She grabs hold of her two aunts, keeping between them.
SARA: No one's leaving. The two of you are going to sit down. Okay? And you're not getting out until you discuss what you need to discuss. Okay? Come on.
Pepa and Silvia stare at each other.
--
THE HOSPITAL
Paco yells at Mariano for nearly going through with the surgery but Mariano explains he was just stalling, and it didn't matter anyway because he's seen amputations done many times on the those medical shows. They argue some more until Mariano tells Paco that someone has to do what Lucas did to have the balls to step up and do something. Paco says Mariano isn't Lucas. Mariano knows but they need someone to do it. Paco says that they'll learn how to be without Lucas. It'll be the two of them.
Aitor comes around the corner, freaked out. He explains he lost DL. Everyone freaks out.
--
THE GARAGE
The men try to get the dog to pee, but instead just get her drunk. Nelson runs up to the shooting range to get more bullets and Curtis tells Povedilla to stop panicking and pee on the wall (to make the dog pee).
--
SARA'S APARTMENT
Family therapy, Sara style, has commenced. Sara sits between her two aunts with a glass of wine and a pillow for protection.
SILVIA: You humiliated me at the hotel, making me seem like a miserable wretch in the worst way, instead of talking to me. And if I called the clinic it was because I thought that you were on board. You didn't tell me anything. What do you think, that I'm not just deaf but dumb too?
PEPA: I think you're a narcissist who has to have everything done your way and how you want it.
SILVIA: How I want it?
Sensing this isn't going anywhere good, Sara takes a gulp of wine.
SILVIA: And your stupid plan to get yourself pregnant the old-fashioned way with your ridiculous list of ex-lovers? Was that how I wanted it?
PEPA: Well, yes, Silvia. It was because of what you wanted. Because never in my life had I ever planned to have children, unless it was with you.
Silvia blinks, astounded. She had no idea.
PEPA: And I went in one week from not wanting one, to wanting it desperately. And do you know why? Because I'm not afraid anymore. Because I told the fear to go hell. Because I had a fear that was overwhelming. Like you've had a thousand times.
She looks at Sara.
PEPA: And like you've had a thousand times too.
Sara lowers her eyes guiltily. Pepa looks back to Silvia.
PEPA: And the only thing I wanted was for you to give me a little bit of understanding. To wait for me. The way I waited for you when you told me that you needed time to figure out all your doubts. That's all.
Silvia is finally listening. She remembers that time, as Pepa keeps speaking, and we see a flash back of the hanger scene, where Silvia takes Pepa's hand.
PEPA: All I'm asking is that you give me your hand. Like when I showed you how to take a walk in the hangar. To hold your head high for me, Silvia. Like when people would see us in the street.
Again, a scene from the hanger as they're walking and imagining people seeing them.
PEPA: What I mean is I want you to be brave for me. Brave like the day you stood up to your father in the cabin.
We flash back to the scene where DL discovered them in bed together, and Silvia wrapped her arm around Pepa and stared defiantly at her father.
PEPA; Silvia. Together we've learned how to kiss each other.
Tears start to flood Silvia's eyes as Pepa reaches for her hand. Silvia allows her to take it and grabs hold.
PEPA: We've learned together how to touch each other.
Silvia breaks down a little more. Lost in Pepa's monologue, Sara is near tears herself as she takes another gulp of wine.
PEPA: But above all above all we've learned how not to be afraid.
Silvia stares at their hands, quietly crying.
PEPA: And for one time just the one time that it's me that has a moment of fear you're going to leave me?
Silvia is now overwhelmed. She quietly cries as she looks at their clasped hands, and looks at Pepa. Takes a breath, and quietly shakes her head no.
Sara is almost afraid to smile, as she glances quickly to see Pepa's reaction.
Pepa's smile is unguarded and adoring. Silvia's tears start to fall as they rise.
They embrace fiercely. Silvia dissolves into tears as Pepa, once again the strong one, comforts her.
Sara beams happily.
PEPA: Shhh.
As they pull back, Pepa wipes happily at Silvia's tears, smoothing away the hurt. She kisses Silvia.
Silvia throws her arms round her, kissing her back. Sara happily gulps down more wine.
As Pepa embraces her again, kissing her face, Silvia clings to her lover, shaken and whole again.
But they're clearly heading fast toward make-up sex, as Pepa's touches grow stronger and Silvia is now riveted on Pepa's lips.
Sara, their niece, decides it might be nice to remind them she's actually in the room.
SARA: Um listen
She gets up and tries to talk to them before they go into another clinch.
SARA: Before you two go ahead with that plan, remember that you're in front of your niece, okay?
They smile as Sara tries to put a little space between the lovebirds.
SARA: Space!
Cars start honking obnoxiously as Pepa shoves Sara back down on the couch playfully before pulling Silvia back into her vicinity to kiss her again.
The cars HONK. It finally registers.
PEPA: Ack! Shit! I'm double-parked! That's me for sure!
She runs for her jacket.
PEPA: I'm going to go change spots.
SARA: Wait! I'll go with you and open the garage so you can go in there! Okay?
Pepa nods.
SARA: Ah, Silvia!
SILVIA: What?
SARA: Call the tavern and tell them to prepare some tapas and we'll pick them up, okay?
SILVIA: Okay.
SARA: The phone number is in the planner.
Silvia settles down happily with the phone and the planner as Pepa and Sara head out.
SARA: Well, I guess the least you can do is invite me to dinner considering what I've done for you tonight-
Pepa shoves her out the door with a smile on her face. Silvia begins dialing.
--
THE GARAGE
Povedilla pees on the wall. Of course, Montoya, Rita and the Captain catch him.
--
SARA'S APARTMENT
Silvia has somehow dialed into Sara's answering machine. She sits happily to listen to the message.
ANSWERING MACHINE: You have one new voicemail. BEEP.
It's Pepa's message, left earlier after her missed call.
PEPA: Sarita, it's me. I'm headed over, okay?
Silvia lights up at Pepa's voice, and listens adoringly.
PEPA: And thank you. Thank you for yelling at me, I needed that. One more thing don't tell Silvia anything about Aitor, okay? I I don't know why I slept with him.
Silvia's smile drops instantly.
PEPA: I don't know if it was because I wanted to have a baby or because I wanted Silvia, or I was drunk well I don't know. Don't tell her anything, okay? It's over. I'll see you in a little bit, okay? Smooches.
Silvia lowers the phone, horrified.
--
MONTOYA'S OFFICE
Rita comes in with a pair of Povedilla's underwear for Montoya. She starts comparing his and Povedilla's dicks and begins to tell Montoya that he should get circumcised. Montoya loses it and yells at her for talking about his junk. To make amends, Rita shows him her boobs. Montoya tells her to cover herself and leaves. Rita realizes she may have crossed a line.
--
THE SHOOTING RANGE
Povedilla and Curtis argue about what to do if the dog is pregnant. Curtis suggests abortion but Povedilla freaks out. Nelson keeps playing the shooting range. Povedilla says Curtis doesn't know the meaning of family. Curtis said Povedilla should talk, since he saw nothing of leaving his wife and daughter. Povedilla gets furious and knocks the tennis ball out of his hands it bounces out the door toward the shooting range. The puppy follows it Nelson has chosen that time shoot blindfolded of course he shoots the poor dog.
Montoya comes in and tells them it's almost time to go. The three men are aghast.
--
THE HOSPITAL
After some furious searching, Paco and company find DL, but thanks to the random chart they put on his bed, he now is missing a kidney.
--
SARA'S APARTMENT
Silvia sits, desolate on the couch as Pepa and Sara come in laughing and arguing about their food.
SARA: Hey the one that's going to eat first is me.
She rushes to put the food down and dig in.
PEPA: No! Gimme! The one with the tortilla is mine!
Sara stuffs one of the little appetizers into her mouth, muttering her agument.
PEPA: The ham's fallen off-
But she still takes a big bite, until she turns and catches Silvia's quiet expression mid-bite.
Immediately, she puts down the food and swallows quickly, looking at her lover.
PEPA: What's wrong, Silvia?
Confronted, the tears that have been building in Silvia's eyes threaten to flood over. She looks up at Pepa pleadingly.
SILVIA: Did you sleep with Aitor?
Sara gasps, and Pepa swivels her gaze to meet hers. But Sara has no idea how Silvia found out.
Pepa has no choice but to come clean. She inhales and braces herself.
PEPA: Yes.
Silvia, who has been hoping against hope that this was in fact NOT what happened, crumbles slightly.
Pepa walks forward, determined to try and minimize the damage to Silvia's fragile heart.
Sara watches fitfully as Pepa settles in front of Silvia and takes her hands.
PEPA: Silvia. I'm sorry. I was really hurt. And really confused. And really drunk too.
She rubs Silvia's hand soothingly.
PEPA: But it doesn't have to change anything between us now. Please. Silvia, I don't like Aitor. I'm not going to go to the movies with him holding hands.
Silvia is just trying to hold it together.
PEPA: Silvia look at me. Silvia look at me, please.
Silvia finally does.
PEPA: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I lost myself. I'm sorry.
She loses her voice in her earnestness, willing Silvia to believe her.
SILVIA: No, if there's anyone here that lost her head, it's me.
There's no malice in her voice. Only simple resignation.
SILVIA: I've always been the neurotic one, who needed someone to anchor me to the floor. But it's ME that needs the stability. Not someone who flies 3000 meters above me.
Pepa glances at the floor, not liking where this is going. Silvia shakes her head.
SILVIA: No. I already tried that with Lucas, and I ended up on anti-depressants. Sara does so well with him because she's not damaged like me. Or like you. I can't do it.
Pepa can only listen as Silvia begins to tear up. Also? Again with the Sara/Lucas=Silvia/Pepa because this conversation ALSO happened between Sara & Lucas in a different form. I'm just a geek. Ignore me.
They clasp hands.
SILVIA: I can't be the sensible one in a relationship.
Pepa is struggling now, and tries to speak to keep this from happening.
PEPA: Yes, you-
SILVIA: No, don't say anything. Please. Don't do anything. If I know, that you'll fill my house with flowers, and come down from a helicopter to my bed
Pepa smiles through her tears, fully aware of those crazy stunts that she WOULD do.
SILVIA: And fill Madrid with my name on every bridge then I would say yes to everything. Don't want to win me over. Don't want me to love you.
She loses her strength.
SILVIA: Let me go, okay?
Pepa has no choice. Silvia rises, but Pepa can't help herself and embraces her lover intensely.
Silvia freezes, but she's always loved being in Pepa's arms. She sobs and closes her arms around Pepa, clinging just as tightly.
Just as quickly, she lets go and heads for the door. Sara watches her go sadly.
Pepa is left behind, tears streaming from her face as Silvia leaves her. Again.
--
THE GARAGE
Curtis has found a pig and is training him to find explosives. Povedilla thinks he's nuts. Curtis tells him he's not going to let Povedilla take the blame for this. He's thinks of Povedilla like family, and they'll get through this together. They resolve to train the pig together.
--
THE HOSPITAL
DL wakes up and wants to know what's going on. Paco explains what they did and says he did it because they're family, all of them, including Mariano and Aitor, and they couldn't help but want to help DL. He offers up his own kidney for DL if DL can't live on just one.
DL sighs and says since they're here they might as well do the tests. He tells Paco they'll discuss the kidney later.
--
THE CRIME SCENE
Rita and Montoya apologize. He tells Rita that it was cold and he's normally bigger than that. They start laughing until the truck comes with Curtis.
The pig comes out and Curtis, Povedilla and Nelson ignore the guffaws and keep walking.
Montoya, who by now is used to this, just sighs and silently instructs Rita to step in beside them. They walk proudly to the building with their explosives pig.
